What was your first handgun, and do you still have it? I remember mine vividly; it was a bit of a clunker, but it brought back so many memories. I'd love to hear your stories and maybe see some old photos if you've got them!

I was a lifelong resident of NY and never shot a firearm until I was 49 but never pursued getting a pistol permit. Five years later, I moved to Maine and bought a Taurus GX4. It was ok, but I never was comfortable with relying on just a trigger blade safety. I traded it in and got a Ruger Max 9.
