Fishing Report 2025

Had a chance to hit up a local lake out here in Maine last weekend. Went after some bass with my buddy; the weather was sunny and warm, but the water was a bit murky from recent rains. Threw a few different lures at them, ended up using a green pumpkin soft plastic that did the trick. We managed to land a couple decent ones, but also missed a few strikes that had me cursing under my breath. I swear they were just playing with us! Not the best day ever, but getting out there and enjoying the scenery made it worth it. Curious how the fish are biting in other spots; anyone else had any luck lately?

Here too. Water is too warm, bass bite early morning only. Topwater frogs work until the sun comes up, then nothing.
