Parkerizing

I’ve got an older steel pistol that’s starting to show its age, and I want to get it parkerized the right way. I’m not looking for Cerakote or any of those modern coatings. I just want it done the classic way. I’d really appreciate any recommendations from people who have actually gone through this process, not just what they’ve heard. This is a gun I’ve shot a lot over the years, and I want to make sure it’s restored properly.

Contact Spin drift, in greene. Had a friend who had a Browning HP done there and was very happy with the results.
