I've been trying to figure out if binary triggers are actually legal in Maine. Just moved here a few months ago, and I’ve been diving into all the local hunting and shooting regulations. It can be a bit overwhelming, honestly, especially when you hear so many different opinions.

I love tinkering with my AR-15, but I want to make sure I'm on the right side of the law before I make any upgrades. I’ve read a few articles, but they seem kind of vague about what’s permitted. Maybe someone here has some firsthand knowledge or could point me to the right resources?

Here’s hoping I don’t end up in hot water over this! What do you all think?

I’d definitely suggest reaching out to your local sheriff’s office or a reliable firearms lawyer in Maine to get the latest scoop. It’ll give you some peace of mind before you shell out cash for that binary setup. Messing around with your AR is part of the fun, but you want to make sure you’re staying on the right side of the law so you can enjoy it without any stress.

It might be just me, I feel you get the same results from frt vs binary. Less of a learning curve and, in my opinion , safer than the binary .
