At a recent gun show I picked up a Daisy 853. I had a steel pellet trap. I dug it out and put it together , set it up across the basement . I only have about 7 yards. But with targets I had from a class that never happened. I go down daily and don't allow myself to leave until I hit a minimum of 5 , 10s. When I started it was taking about 8 to 10, sometimes more to accomplish the goal, weeks later it's more like 6 to 8, sometimes 5 straight. Offhand, standing, is where most people have the greatest area for improvement. Hopefully it pays off.

I love messing around in the basement with pellet guns. One winter, I did something like that with a cheap air rifle and I got way better at holding it steady. Doing it every day helps you get it in your head, in a quiet way

Yesterday's target, the 5 was a premature trigger pull, it happens to the best of us.thanks for the compliment

After 28 years, I've finally acquired the widgets to add a long eye relief scope to my IZH-46; still get to use the iron sights, too!
