Now that Janet Mills has dropped out of the race due to lack of finances... It's time to take a hard look at Mr. Platner, but first, I believe Janet Mills dropped out because someone was going to bring up her brother's involvement with property sales to illegal Chinese marijuana grows, Somali fraud, or the not well-kept secrets about "rumors" of her use of cocaine.
I digress. This is about Graham Platner being a 100% disabled veteran portraying himself as a hard-working oyster farmer and harbor master. BS to everything about this guy. He is a NEPO baby, wealthy parents, went to prep school, etc....
It is time to look at this guy and the truth about him. Our liberal Maine media won't! themainewire.com reports on things our media won't.
How can someone be 100% disabled, getting $4800/month, but still be able to work and earn money, or have his campaign be paying his wife, thus increasing his household income? He seems physically able to work. So, is his disability based on PTSD/mental health issues? If so, is this the best that the Democrat party can come up with for a candidate????? Should he even be considered to represent our state if he has mental issues?
I'm not picking on veterans. I am one myself and I spent 4 1/2 years in Iraqi war zones as a civilian contractor. I support veterans, but I don't support them gaming the system! If he is truly disabled, I can respect that. Let him go home and try to rehabilitate, NOT SERVE AS OUR NEXT SENATOR!
Here are some articles about him.
