Shorty AR owners?

If you've spent some time firing a shorty AR, what recoil system and gas tuning options have worked best for you in terms of achieving a clean and dependable performance?

I normally go with the longest gas system available for the barrel length. Suppression charges everything . I run linear brakes on any barrel I can. It is even more important on a shorty helps with noise, concussion, and flash. It also doesn't have a coalition to gas pressures as full on Suppression. I am not a fan of adjustable gas systems, manual tuning, if you have a multi portion, ie number setting or suppressed/ unsuppressed those work. But using a hex key to adjust back and forth is not ,imo, good as you spend more time adjusting that shooting. My 2 cents, that and another $4.98 will get you a cup of coffee.
