Pistol recoil springs

Just out of curiosity, how frequently do you change the recoil springs in your pistols?

You can normally feel the recoil change. It will feel, hit, harder at the end of the slide stroke and not go back into battery. Competition guys who do round counts will automatically replace at a predetermined number, depending on the gun and discipline.
