What’s your go-to carry revolver and what makes it the perfect choice for you? I’m eager to hear from those of you who carry wheelguns on a daily basis about your real-world experiences and what you find works best.
Hence the improved, oversized grips. The original grips were OK, but kinda ugly and a little slippery when wet.with 44's probably a little snappy.
As a young fella I would carry my 6 1/2" 29-2 inside the waistband, Mexican style. I was 6'4" and 250lbs at the time. I'm basically the same size as you are now, might be 10-20lbs heavier, but that amounts to nothing once your over 300!I used to know a guy out in the 13th Coast Guard District (late '70s) whose preferred off-duty concealed carry was an original .44 Auto Mag. I never did think to ask him what kind of rig he carried it in. At the time, he was only a little bigger than I was (6'3" 185 - now I'm 6'3" 300).
