Maine gun shop suggestions for powder

Try Cabelas in Scarborough, they stock Hodgdon and IMR powders year round, even Varget for rifles. Call ahead though, it flies off shelves in fall.

Sportsmans Warehouse in Augusta has reliable Alliant stock, including Reloder 15.

Better than small shops that run dry quick.

Ok, I appreciate the suggestions. I was thinking about Powder Valley online. Any experience with that?
Yeah, Powder Valley's great and been around forever and has a ton of powders, primers, and reloading gear at good prices, just make sure you're on the legit site, not some sketchy knockoff. You order online much?

Thanks. Do you have any experience with them?

Yeah, I've ordered from Powder Valley a few times and never had an issue. Everything came quick, packaged right, and prices were okay, but just double-check stock before ordering, since popular items sell out fast

Did shipping hazmat fees bump the price up a lot, or was it still better than local shop prices when you bought primers and powder?
