I've been at this for years, trying out various holsters, but Lobo’s has me really interested. Has anyone here actually tested one out?

Jm, I do love me some leather, but a quick look says I would have to sell a kid to afford the top of the line. As you stated it , I have boxes of holsters that weren't exactly what I looking for. Your smart to ask to see if someone has personal knowledge of them. It's alot of cash to be , I'll try one. I am not a flashy holster guy, it needs to keep it were I it's supposed to, has to be comfortable all day and some times all night, and be able to let go when I need it to . Just that simple.

I’ll be honest, the price does make me think twice, but I’ve figured out that one good holster that’s comfortable and durable is worth more than three average ones that never really fit right. I’d rather spend my money once on something I know I’ll use every day instead of always looking for something that’s just “almost good enough.”

I agree, that was my point. I truly understand "pay once cry once" principal. I also would say that if I paid a high price for something and it did most of what I wanted, not quite right but good enough I would probably keep using it. Example, when I got my ultra light j-frame. I put the houge extended grips on it. Needed the grips to better control the +p ammo. But the leather thumb latch wouldn't reach, walked around for weeks with it unsnapped , held the gun find, most of the time, was comfortable, most of the time, and didn't interfere to much with the draw. but , praise God, as the leather broke in it made it possible to snap the thumb strap. I lucked out by pure stubbornness. but I also have a couple of holsters added to the tub.
