I’m going a bit nuts with them up there! What strategies have y'all found that actually stick in the long run?

I have found success with extract of peppermint . mix it half to two thirds with water answer put it in a spray bottle. Hit the spots you think they are entering, then mist it all around. Will also give the house a nice peppermint smell. Works for most 4 legged pests. If you catch them outside 22lr works too. If you live in town and you can be out of sight , CCI quite's normally make less noise than a pellet gun. Just watch your trajectory.

I had issues with squirrels in my attic once and I fixed it by sealing all the little holes along the roof. Traps only worked for a little while, but blocking their way in took care of the problem.

I sealed up every entry point I could find, and that finally stopped the problem. Traps helped for a bit but the issue kept coming back until I blocked all access.

I hadn't heard about the peppermint trick but heavily depend on the CCI Quiet ammo
