I’ve always loved the look and feel of old-school blued steel and walnut, but recently, I’ve been exploring the modern side of things. I’m learning about red dots, suppressor hosts, and all those fun accessories that used to seem unnecessary. With the long winters we have, I’ve found that working on my gear during the off-season is my favorite way to keep busy.

As I said yesterday, welcome. I agree there is just something about walnut and blued steel. If they could talk we could put our phones away and shut off the TV. Now that the newer versions have been around for awhile they are starting to make there own stories. I have many of both. As I have said before, guns with stories are cool. Winter is a good time to catch up on all those projects. Dry fire is a great winter activity also, need to keep those fingers in shape.
