I’d love to know what everyone's top choice is for a rimfire rifle when accuracy is crucial. Which .22 LR rifle has given you the most impressive results?

I guess it comes down to you can buy fundamental accuracy. I have more than most when it comes to rimfire rifles. I have a collection of vintage rimfire target rifles that all most of all which are more accurate than I can shoot them. So for the most part what you want out of a 22 long rifle, there are options at every cost point . With anything I compete with I demand sub moa accuracy . Tha being said I have semiautos that serve certain disciplines, bolt guns and singles that do others. The ability to keep 10 rounds touching at 25 yards is a balance of ammo, gun and shooter. The Gun and ammo can preform but can the shooter.

As to the basis of the question after my diatribe . I have consistently hit a 12 in gong at over 350 yards with a tweaked Ruger RPR. I have put full mags in a 1022 at 50 yards touching in the x ring of the bench. But I have also cleaned 50 yard prone targets with my Anschutz with a high x count on my best days. I guess the question is very open ended and requires a counter question of wha is acceptable accuracy for you.
