With our community growing every day, I’d love to collect some of the shared experiences we have.

For our seasoned owners and collectors, what advice would you offer your younger self when you first began this journey? Share your insights on storage methods, reliable sites, auctions, or anything else you wish you had known sooner.

OK before anyone calls me old, I am. Been hunting and shooting since I was 8 or 9, that means over 55 years. Bought my first gun when I was 12, Ithica model 66 in 410. Still have it. Own quite a few more now. Have had 2 stolen and have only sold less than 10. Never regret not selling one that I have. So many friends say I wish I never sold that , fill in the blank. As for storage, everyone that lives in your house should know how and what they are used for. I have 12 year olds almost 13 that have safer handling procedures than I see by a lot of gun store clerks. Don't advertise to the world what you have and how much ammo you have stored, you make yourself a target. always be ready and able to defend yourself and your family. I could go on and on but I think I have made my point .
